Dancing with the Huli Wigmen

Video Description:
This was a surprisingly not-so-difficult clip to get. I arrived in Tari, Papua New Guinea with no plans or arrangements and no idea what I was doing.
I met Patrick on the runway and told him I hoped to find the Huli Wigmen. He said "no problem" and we hopped in a truck.
I visited some Huli villages and wandered around the area all morning. Patrick took me to the Wigmen's village and introduced me. It took them an hour or so to get dressed up, and then we had to sit around waiting for the rain to stop.
It stopped, then this happened, then I paid them for their time, and that was that.

Andyf4, believe it or not, people regularly agree to do things they don't enjoy. People are coerced to do some things, or paid to do something they hate and find demeaning. My suggestion is that maybe Matt has not been in this position (at least not for a while) and hasn't been very sensitive to these men. Maybe that wasn't the case here, I can't really tell, but that was my impression.

Hmm, after watching this video a second time i know where your coming from and kinda agree, although i presume they enjoy dancing normally i can see that for them to be told where and how to dance so that Matt can video them could be demeaning, i can see now that Matt hasn't really considered the feelings of these men, although i dont thinkhe did it intentionally.
