we accept(ed) religion because it made sense & the concept is fairly easy to understand. but, from a logical standpoint, when you actually think about it, & can fully comprehend it, science seems to be the logical choice. especially since there's actually (some)truth(/theory=educated guess) to it. this debate won't be settled any time soon. Until we are atleast a type three civilization on the kardashev scale, we won't have the capability to know for sure.

So, my conclusion(& perhaps that of a number of others) is, as of right now, humans are unable to prove whether or not any religion(or science, which currently, is unlikely) is in fact correct or not. & so, it is pointless for anyone else to argue on about the subject. say what you will, but i won't pay any attention to unproductive/unintelligent replies.

Secondly i said to u that we can disagree-I doNT NEED science to prove somthing i hav experienced and KNOW for myself.I doNT need an external to prove anything to me.WHY shuld I take som elses word over my own experience. i think baboon is correct. it does appear that gaian is saying that religion is illogical. as for your personal experience, the human mind is quite adept at fabricating visions, ideas, dreams, & such. which is why personal experience's aren't quite reliable.

Common sense told us that the sun & moon rose & fell. this led to the belief that they orbited the earth, which also sparked the idea that earth was the center of the universe, which led some to believe that human's are "special". so special in fact, that the supposedly existant supreme being had created them in HIS image. i wonder how many intelligent alien species came up with THAT idea millenia earlier.

This whole thing is ridiculous. It started with me stating that this artist was being guided by spirit. Just a comment. My opinion.
